“COVID-19 in infants and children represents a much lower risk to survival and health than the other infections and conditions that breastfeeding is protective against”.
Research highlighting the importance of avoiding separating the mother-baby dyad
The numbers have been crunched on infant mortality due to risk of mother-to-infant transmission of COVID-19 vs separating mothers and infants....you can see how that worked out! 67X more deaths with maternal separation. https://t.co/6kUq6Ye1c6
Snuggling up with a bedtime story gives me so much joy, particularly when we find books that promotes individuality and body confidence! @RRWbooks my mums a tiger is a firm favourite in this house 🐯 📚 💪🏻
Yesterday I said goodbye to one of my favourites! ♥️ what an absolute loss for us, @chloebaggers you are such an amazing, caring, passionate midwife, who is destined to do amazing things, and I can’t wait to see you progress in your new trust 😘 #myfavorite#workbestie#goodluck
Very important this #ValentinesDay is to send yourself the love you deserve.

Milk of mothers with COVID-19 did not contain any SARS-CoV-2 but did contain SARS-CoV-2 antibodies. When SARS-CoV-2 was added to the milk of women with COVID-19 it was neutralised by the milk.
