My First ETH, ADA & TRX - The Coins That Started My Crypto Journey 2017 - From a Manhattan Café to Meeting Crypto’s Biggest Names

I still remember the excitement in November 2017 — sitting in a café in Manhattan, NYC, when I bought my first ETH on Coinbase for $323 and received that confirmation email. From that moment on, I spent countless hours reading, learning, and investing every cent into cryptocurrencies.

My first buys were ETH and BTC. Then came Cardano ADA and Tron TRX. I still recall getting ADA at $0.02 on Bittrex, and TRX at $0.002 on Binance and Etherdelta.

Just a month later, in the peak of the 2017–2018 bull run, I met @IOHK_Charles at G20 Ventures in Cambridge, Boston. Since that day, I’ve been a proud Cardano supporter — and to this day, whenever someone asks me which crypto to buy first, my answer is always ADA Cardano. Only after that do I even think about what else to recommend.

When I returned from the USA to MNE, I became a lawyer, and later the Director-General of the Directorate for Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies. In 2022, I met @VitalikButerin as well. Both of them are true leaders of the digital revolution we are living through, and their names will be written in history — as should be the goal of every great innovator.

And of course, let’s not forget @justinsuntron. The energy and passion he put into building Tron are extraordinary. I’ve followed his journey from the very beginning to today, when most of ours USDT transactions happen on the Tron network.

Why am I writing this today? Because ETH has just crossed $4,700 and is closing in on its ATH. If you think this is the top, as someone who’s been following the crypto market 24/7 for nine years, I can tell you — this is only the beginning for ETH. And Cardano? It’s getting ready for takeoff, just like ETH did.

Država da se zaduži i kupi Bitcoin i Ethereum

Država Crna Gora treba po hitnom postupku da emituje petogodišnje obveznice u vrijednosti od 500 miliona eura, plasirane prema domaćem i stranom tržištu, i da tim sredstvima kupi Bitcoine i Ethereume, i formira digitalne državne rezerve. Ovakvim potezom država bi stekla imovinu čija bi vrijednost u narednih pet godina vrijedjela od 3 do 5 milijardi dolara. Neto profit od te investicije mogao bi se iskoristiti za izgradnju saobraćajne, energetske i digitalne infrastrukture.

Putem formiranja digitalnih državnih rezervi krenule su Sjedinjene Američke Države i druge zemlje fokusirane na razvoj ekonomije. Bitcoin, kao ograničeni resurs budućnosti, u narednim godinama — pogotovo tokom predsjedničkog mandata Donalda Trampa — bilježiće prosječan godišnji rast od 30 do 50%, i do 2030. godine dostići će cijenu u rasponu od pola miliona do milion dolara po Bitcoinu, a Ethereum od 15 do 25 hiljada dolara.

Dodatno, kupljeni Bitcoini i Ethereumi bi mogli da se koriste kao kolateral za dodatno zaduživanje pod povoljnim uslovima, što bi omogućilo servisiranje obaveza u narednim godinama i investiranje u državni data centar, koji bi bio osnov digitalnog razvoja Crne Gore.

Sa tim kapitalom, Crna Gora bi mogla postati najbrže rastuća ekonomija Evrope i pozicionirati se među deset najbrže rastućih ekonomija svijeta.

Sve što je potrebno jeste da premijer pokaže odlučnost i viziju, te brzo povuče potez — hitna emisija petogodišnjih državnih obveznica, od prikupljenih sredstava kupovina Bitcoina i Ethereuma na OTC marketu i deponovanje istih kod najvećih custody kompanija poput Bitgo, Gemini i drugih.

Formiranje digitalnih državnih rezervi i da država rudari Bitcoin kroz javno-privatno partnerstvo i tako puni digitalne državne rezerve, predložio sam sadašnjem premijeru još u oktobru 2021. godine, u dokumentu pod naslovom "Regulacija i razvoj blockchaina i kriptovaluta u Crnoj Gori", a prvu verziju nacrta Zakona o blockchain tehnologiji i kriptovalutama, kojim je sve ovo definisano, dostavio sam mu u decembru iste te godine, u svojstvu tada Generalnog direktora Direktorata za blockchain i kriptovalute Ministatstva finansija.

Da smo tada, prije 4 godine, kao država formirali digitalne državne rezerve i kupovali Bitcoin iz obveznica i dodatno ga rudarili kroz JPP, već bismo imali državne rezerve vrijedne nekoliko milijardi dolara u Bitcoinima, a koji bi do 2030. godine vrijedio desetine milijardi dolara.

Ali, ni sada nije kasno da krenemo, ako se imaju znanje i vizija sa jedne strane, a sa druge strane odlučnost da se ignorišu javni i orkestrirani napadi osvjedočenih neznalica u crnogorskom društvu, koje su po pravilu uvijek medijski najbučnije i vuku državu nazad.

P. S. Na dašnji dan, prije 10 godina, Bitcoin je vrijedio 280 dolara, danas vrijedi 114 hiljada dolara, a koliko će tek vrijedjeti 6. avgusta 2035. godine?
