It’s energizing to see how Amazon’s investment and business priorities are perfectly aligned with India's economic objectives. Proud to be one of the largest global AI and cloud infrastructure investors in India, in addition to being the largest foreign investor in India, the largest enabler of ecommerce exports and one of the biggest job creators in the country.
We remain committed to creating over 3.8 million jobs, enable $80 billion in cumulative ecommerce exports and bring the benefits of AI to 15 million small businesses and 4 million government school students by 2030.

Really enjoyed my meeting with Prime Minister @narendramodi about what’s ahead for Amazon in India.
We’ve been serving customers, sellers, developers, startups, and enterprises in India for more than a decade and just getting started.
Shared that we’re investing $48 billion over the coming five years, including $21+ billion in AI and cloud infrastructure.
By 2030, we plan to support 3.8 million jobs, enable $80 billion in ecomm exports, and bring benefits of AI to 15 million small businesses and 4 million government school students.
Excited about what’s ahead. Still early days for what we can build. https://t.co/sxkRka2Qng
Great to have Andy Jassy visit the Amazon Now micro-fulfillment center in Mumbai. The enthusiasm from the team and their pride in what they’ve built for customers was evident. It only pushes us to do better and double down our efforts.
Super proud to see how our India team has moved quickly to serve customers in minutes. Not surprising, the response is overwhelming - customer orders doubling every 90 days making this our fastest growing business ever for Amazon in India. Can't wait to scale this nationally and build India's largest delivery network, offering customers the largest selection at fastest speeds across minutes, hours and next day.
Equally important is ensuring that our growth creates value for the people who make it possible. Through ‘Sammaan’, we are strengthening our support for delivery associates and their families as we continue building for the long term. Still hashtag#Day1

Great to be in India and visit an Amazon Now micro-fulfillment center in one of the busiest areas of Mumbai.
The things you need quickly—groceries, shampoo, baby products, and more—get picked and delivered just minutes after ordered. Customers are loving it… Prime members triple their shopping frequency once they start using it, and we've seen orders double every quarter since launch.
It's our fastest-growing ecommerce business unit in India and we're expanding to 300+ cities as part of our plan to build the country’s largest delivery-in-minutes network. And what we've learned building it here is now helping us scale it across the U.S. and around the world.
Team's also investing in how we support delivery associates, expanding our air-conditioned rest centers to 250 across the country (open to anyone in the industry), plus education scholarships for their kids, and upgraded insurance.
Proud of what the team's built and the associates and partners who make it happen for customers every day. Still at the beginning of what's possible. https://t.co/gpqQiRCzAn
One leadership principle I return to often is Learn and Be Curious.
In the latest episode of Learn and Be Curious with Doug Herrington, Alessandro Carbone shares an inspiring journey—from practicing law in Italy to leading an Amazon fulfillment center serving customers at incredible scale.
Alessandro started his career as a lawyer in Italy before taking a leap into operations through Amazon's Pathways program. Today, he leads a fulfillment center with thousands of employees, serving customers at incredible scale. His story is a reminder that growth often happens when we're willing to step outside our comfort zones, learn new skills, and embrace unfamiliar challenges.
A great conversation on leadership, growth, and the power of stepping outside your comfort zone.
Worth a listen.
Celebrating 15 years of Amazon in Brazil.
What began in 2011 with AWS, Kindle, and Prime Video has grown into a business serving customers and selling partners across the country.
Over the years, we've invested more than R$75 billion (US$15 billion) in Brazil, helped create 55,000+ jobs, and built a network of 300+ logistics sites. In 2025 alone, we invested over R$19 billion (US$3.8 billion)—nearly 5x our annual average over the past 15 years.
These investments are helping customers access greater selection, convenience, and value, while creating new opportunities for entrepreneurs to grow their businesses.
Brazil is one of Amazon's top global priorities, and we're excited about what lies ahead.
Parabéns, Time Brasil.🇧🇷

Prime Day is almost here—and independent sellers are at the heart of it.
Today, more than 60% of sales in Amazon's store come from independent sellers. In 2025, they achieved record sales and sold a record number of items.
Prime members can already access early deals from U.S.-based small businesses, and customers can discover more through Alexa by asking to "shop small businesses" or by looking for the small business badge.
We're making it easier for customers to discover and support small businesses—just ask Alexa to "shop small businesses" or look for the small business badge while browsing.

One of the most compelling aspects of India's growth story today is seeing products once known locally find customers globally.
From Bhadohi's carpets and Karur's home textiles to Ayurveda, spices, and apparel from emerging cities, Indian businesses are showcasing the country's quality, craftsmanship and innovation to the world.
The momentum is building, and at Amazon Global Selling, we are proud to support this transformation by helping Indian exporters and D2C brands access customers in 200+ countries through technology, training, and global market access. Our commitment remains clear: enable $80 billion in cumulative e-commerce exports from India by 2030.

Juneau, Alaska has no roads connecting it to the rest of the state — just boats and planes. But that didn’t stop @barnaclefoods from building a national business rooted in Alaska’s coastal flavors.
Using Amazon’s store, Fulfillment by Amazon, and later AWD, Barnacle Foods has been able to scale nationwide while staying focused on building their brand and products.
Stories like this are why we continue investing in tools and services that help entrepreneurs grow from anywhere.

Last week in São Paulo, Amazon Conecta — our annual seller conference in Brazil — wrapped its largest and most intentional edition yet. Nearly 1,900 entrepreneurs from 14 states came together to learn, connect, and build their next chapter with Amazon.
• More than 70% of attendees have been selling with us for less than a year — a strong sign of Brazil’s next generation of digital entrepreneurs.
• 100K+ sellers are growing with Amazon in Brazil
• 78% of seller sales happening outside their home states.
From AI-powered tools and programs like Vem de Amazon to FBA-driven growth and faster deliveries, we’re continuing to invest in helping businesses of all sizes scale across Brazil and beyond.

This week, we're celebrating SMB Week 2026 in Mexico, featuring products from participating small and medium-sized businesses with up to 25% off—giving customers across the country an opportunity to discover local brands and support the entrepreneurs behind them.
The numbers tell the story: 27,000+ Mexican selling partners on https://t.co/U3pjjRQ4je, 99% of them SMBs, contributing $19.4 billion MXN to Mexico's GDP and supporting over 52,000 jobs across the country.
Every purchase during SMB Week is a direct way to support these entrepreneurs. Proud of what our teams in Mexico are building to help small businesses grow.

Recently, I spent time with our teams and selling partners across Mexico and Brazil. These visits are always energizing – a chance to listen, learn, and see firsthand how teams are building for customers every day with startup-like energy and missionary ownership to solve hard problems.
One theme that came up repeatedly was the role failure plays in invention—to invent at scale, you need to be willing to fail at scale too. It was exciting to see how teams are using AI to help selling partners expand selection, access competitive pricing and promotions, and simplify operations while continuing to raise the bar on speed and convenience.
We also spent time with selling partners through dedicated panels and conversations. Hearing directly from entrepreneurs remains one of the most valuable inputs into how we continue improving. It’s still early, but the momentum is real.
Proud of what the teams across #AmazonMexico #AmazonBrazil are building.
It’s not often you get to see science, collaboration, and persistence come together to rewrite the future of a species. And when Amazon’s Right Now Climate Fund can support even a small part of that effort, it’s incredibly rewarding.
Recently, 100 eastern barred bandicoots were released onto Phillip Island in Australia—the largest single translocation in this species’ recovery so far. It’s a milestone built on decades of persistence. In 1991, the species was declared extinct in the wild on mainland Australia. The remaining 60 animals, protected in sanctuaries, faced a serious genetic bottleneck. What followed is a powerful example of science-led conservation.
A collaborative effort led by the Odonata Foundation, Cesar Australia, and the Eastern Barred Bandicoot Recovery Team has resulted in a world-first genetic rescue program to revive the population—cross-breeding mainland survivors with Tasmanian bandicoots separated for over 10,000 years.
Today, that effort has resulted in a thriving population of over 2,000 animals. Releases across multiple sites, starting with Phillip Island Nature Parks, are now helping build resilience against climate risks and natural disasters. What’s amazing is that these small animals are also ecosystem engineers—improving soil health, water retention, and overall landscape resilience. Credit to the teams behind this effort. The methods proven here don’t just help one species, they offer a pathway for conservation efforts globally.

Mirzapur meets Aashram: two iconic worlds, one streaming experience.
Excited about the coming together of Prime Video and Amazon MX Player, creating India's largest streaming destination for free and premium entertainment experiences.
From blockbuster originals and movies to free entertainment and live content, this integration expands access for customers while creating new opportunities for creators, producers, and advertisers to reach audiences at scale.
I’m excited for the new story we are scripting in the streaming space, while we remain committed to innovating on behalf of customers and helping grow the country’s digital entertainment ecosystem.

Across Europe, small businesses are increasingly reaching customers across the region and globally. In 2025, EU small businesses selling in Amazon’s store reached a record €40 billion in sales, with cross-border exports growing to €17 billion, including €13.5 billion within the EU.
Behind these numbers are businesses like Ciocca, a fourth-generation Italian sock manufacturer now selling in 32 countries; FETÉN, a Spanish grooming brand generating nearly half its revenue from international sales; and CALCUSO, a German school supply company scaling across Europe using our fulfillment network.
These stories highlight what’s possible when small businesses have access to a broad customer base, strong infrastructure, and fast delivery. We continue to invest in AI-powered tools and advocate for simpler regulations to help European SMEs grow across borders.

For years, we’ve helped selling partners grow on Amazon. Now we’re taking that further.
Introducing Amazon Supply Chain Services (ASCS)—opening our logistics network to businesses of all sizes, wherever they sell. From cross-border shipping to storage to final delivery, all in one place.
This model works—80B+ units shipped via Fulfillment by Amazon since 2006. Sellers using end-to-end solutions see ~20% higher sales.
Now extending these capabilities beyond Amazon—so any business can scale faster, with more flexibility and control.
If you’re looking to simplify your supply chain and grow your business, I encourage you to take a look: https://t.co/gu1noi9c51
Ahead of #NationalSmallBusinessWeek, proud to share Amazon's 2025 Small Business Empowerment Report.
What U.S. independent sellers achieved this year is remarkable:
75,000+ sellers crossed $1M in sales — up 36% YoY. Average seller revenue topped $375K, nearly 30% higher. And 11,000+ sellers grew their sales by 10x.
AI is playing a real role in this. Our Seller Assistant — our agentic, AI-powered expert — reached 230K monthly users, with sellers accepting its recommendations 90%+ of the time.
And beyond the revenue numbers — independent sellers supported 2M+ U.S. jobs in 2025, strengthening local economies and communities nationwide.
When entrepreneurs succeed, everyone benefits. We'll keep building the tools and infrastructure to make that happen.

Andy Jassy in his recent shareholder letter noted that progress is rarely a straight line—durable companies manage inflection points well, and when you see a disproportionate one, you bet big. That’s exactly where we are with Amazon Now in India, delivering ~10K items in minutes. We’re excited by the rapid adoption of Amazon Now and recently announced plans to expand it to 100 cities, supported by 1000+ micro-FCs.

Jeff Bezos famously stated that the most radical and transformative of inventions are often those that empower others to unleash their creativity – to pursue their dreams. And to be able to do so for 27+ years is just lucky!
It is absolutely the shared ambition of my colleagues across Amazon that made this possible – together, obsessing with customers, inventing on their behalf, and thinking long-term. Deeply grateful for the journey, the people who have supported and challenged me, and the countless lessons learned along the way. Marking my 27th Amaversary and feeling just as curious and excited about what’s next. It’s still Day 1!
