@UtdDistrict@ManUtd Sesko, Heaven and Mazraoui in
Cunha, Martinez and Shaw out
The defenders basically for rotation
Mount, Lacey and Santos must be involved with more minutes
The toxicity that surrounds Manchester United on a daily basis is caused in part by segments of it's own fanbase. The way they turn on the coach, superstars, new signings, young players - whoever it is - at the drop of a hat, is crazy to me.
You can't demand loyalty without showing it yourself. You can't demand high performance without sticking with it through the lows. It has been a frustrating & disappointing start to the season, it has to improve & quickly, nobody denies that.
Scapegoating doesn't help. Abuse doesn't help. Criticism is fair, obviously. There's a difference. These people aren't your emotional punching bags. They represent your club, you should support them - that's kind of the whole point.
@Gideoomatic And this after he played the exact same ball for Bruno last week. Is there a problem between Cunha and Rashford?
There were some of these problems in the team when Ronaldo was here
Nobody is talking about Luke Shaw's run and cross for Sesko's goal... Normally this isn't a Big deal but I promise you if United had signed Hall or any LB and they did that, that would have been the stick used in beating Shaw
Yes, it is unpopular as Rashford has been amazing on the wing and has created chances. Chances may or may not lead to a goal, but at least he is creating them
Sesko can still start though and maybe Cunha can be benched
🚨🚨Unpopular Opinion: Carrick starting Rashford is disrupting the whole team.
Rashford has no business being a regular starter on the left wing if not for Carrick favoritism.
Rashford is meant to be on the bench and cunha plays as the left winger and Sesko at the No 9.
Since Rashford has started on the left wing, he has had useless dribbles without any single output (neither goals/assists).
Dorgu is also meant to come in as a leftback sub to Luke Shaw but because Carrick wants to find a way to favor Rashford in his team.
In short, Rashford starting as the left winger displaces cunha at left wing which in turn displaces Sesko as the striker, just because Carrick wants to favor him.
🚨🗣️ Valdas Dambrauskas [Sabah coach] on Old Trafford: “This is BEYOND my imagination. To go through that tunnel on to that pitch.
“I've been MANY times to Old Trafford with the kids, and now I'm going to come as a coach.” #MUFC [@BBCSport]
Until fans realize this, Mainoo and Tielemans are not a good pivot combo. They’re slow & defensively vulnerable. Until Mount, Baleba, or maybe Santos (who is still slow) plays alongside either Mainoo or Tielemans, the defense will remain vulnerable and concede goals.
Matheus Cunha doesn't suit the style of #9 this system needs. Too much drifting around & dropping deep, not getting in behind which is why Bryan Mbeumo seems to suit that role so much better - gives attack more of a focal point & he doesn't blend with Dalot like Amad does at RW.
This is the real problem
He has to let Dorgu go. You have Zirkzee, Lacey, Amad to come back.
Dorgu can only be an option when injuries come in like it was last season. If he is on the bench and gets subbed in thats just inviting the opposition
We will have our wonder goals as well.
This is for Carrick and the team to learn. We have to be more aggressive to go for top places in the league. When you sub in Dorgu and leave Lacey out of the team thats a message to the opposition
@igonor_philip@ManUtd Much better midfield?
Bruno and Kobbie are still starting who Amorim also had. Casemiro was a much better midfielder than our new signings
Amorim got it wrong and no two ways about it
🚨🗣️@David_Ornstein on Manchester United’s Summer Transfer Window:
“They haven't got an unlimited flow of cash. They've got to live within relative means. And they're aiming for a more sustainable model under Sir Jim Ratcliffe.”
