Can non-BJP governments really tolerate criticism, questioning and sarcastic comments?

A simple test of democracy:

Can citizens question the government?
Can they criticize its policies?
Can they make sarcastic comments about political leaders?
Can journalists, opposition parties and ordinary citizens disagree without fear?

The real test of any government is not how it treats its supporters, but how it responds to its critics.

Democracy needs accountability—not political immunity.

Ajeet Bharti is not making a principled case. He praised this government when he expected something back. He did not get it. Now he is running the general-caste agitation and you are treating that turn as moral courage. That is a man who changed his line after the deal failed, not a man who discovered accountability.

The point that any replacement would be worse is not a trick to stop questions. It is the power fact. Good intentions do not govern a country. Organised force and law do. Patriotism toward Bharat does not float above the party that currently holds the state. You cannot claim loyalty to the country while treating the only formation that has actually used power for Hindu consolidation as just another option beside Congress, TMC, SP or the Left.

No one is asking for silence. The demand is that “scrutiny” should not mean helping a caste split inside Sanatan society. The general-caste protest line that Ajeet is now riding does not raise the Hindu position. It breaks Hindus into camps while the other side stays intact.

Farm laws, Shaheen Bagh, CJP were street hostage situations. Yielding under that pressure is a political cost. Using those episodes to say lawful supporters are expendable, and that real patriotism means constant public demolition of the only working vehicle, is not checks and balances. It is converting every compromise into a reason to weaken your own side.

Question the policy. Do not sell the idea that love for the country can be separated from the ideology and party that currently command the state. Name the better vehicle. If you cannot, for there can’t be any alternative to BJP and RSS, this lecture is not higher loyalty. It is self-harm with a clean conscience.

Calling women “parasites” because they have legal rights under Hindu personal laws is not an argument—it is an admission that you have misunderstood the laws.

The Hindu Succession Act gives daughters equal coparcenary rights in ancestral property. The Hindu Marriage Act provides a legal framework for marriage, divorce, maintenance and related rights. These laws do not make women “dependent on men”; they establish enforceable rights and responsibilities within family relationships.

And yes, Ambedkar played a major role in the Hindu Code Bill reforms. That makes the argument even weaker: using Ambedkar’s name while attacking the legal rights created through Hindu-law reform is quite a contradiction.

If someone files a false case, punish the false case. But branding an entire gender as “parasites” because some individuals misuse the law is simply collective stereotyping.

Rights are not dependency. Legal remedies are not extortion. And misuse of a law does not invalidate the law itself.

People like you are absolute idiots. You have never even read the Hindu Succession Act or the Hindu Marriage Act in your life. Under these laws, most women are living their lives as parasites dependent on men. To extort money and property, they file cases against their fathers, brothers, husbands, boyfriends, and others.

Women have not become independent today. Instead, they have become dependent on men.

And the irony is almost laughable. The Hindu Succession Act and the Hindu Marriage Act were part of the Hindu-law reforms that Ambedkar had played a major role in framing. The same Ambedkar who chaired the Drafting Committee of the Constitution. Remember him?

उत्तर प्रदेश के पण्डितों का दूसरा ही दर्द है... उनके घर के पिछवाड़े सीएम पीएम उगा करते थे. अब नहीं उग रहे, उनका खेत सूख गया है।

बिहार के सवर्णों की चिंता अधिक जमीनी थी. बिहार में सवर्ण का मतलब शोषक किसी एससी/एसटी एक्ट के भरोसे नहीं था... डेढ़ बीघा जमीन वालों को भी जमींदार घोषित कर दिया जाता था और वहाँ जो खतरा था वह यह नहीं था कि सोशल मीडिया पर अपशब्द कहे जाते हैं. बिहार ने वो समय देखा है जब गाँव के गाँव जला दिए जाते थे और सामूहिक नरसंहार हुआ करते थे. बिहार के सवर्णों के लिए जातिगत संघर्ष एक जुबानी खतरा नहीं था, एक रियलिटी थी. बिहार में नक्सली हिंसा ने दो पीढ़ियों तक ग्रामीण इलाकों को थर्रा कर रख दिया था.

जुबानी जमखर्च की बात छोड़ दीजिए, जमीन पर मोदी सरकार द्वारा सवर्णों को दी जाने वाली सबसे बड़ी सुरक्षा देश से नक्सलवाद का खात्मा है. जिसको इतना हिसाब लगाने नहीं आता और मोदी को सवर्णों का दुश्मन बता रहे हैं उन्हें अपनी जिदगी, अपनी जमीन की ओर देखना चाहिए. यूपी के पंडितजी लोगों को छोड़िए... उनको अपने बगीचे में पीएम सीएम उपजाने हैं.. हमारी तो बस अपनी जान की खेती है।
