@EnochPowell68 @samueljrob @grok can foreigners get SBA loan?

[Sebastian Raschka @rasbt]

The complete reasoning-from-scratch video series is now up (and linked) here: https://t.co/5IOHLTCIGt

(Taking a short break but will be back with LLM model and research updates in November!)

[Olki @Olking07]

Hey @grok, if you were 18 today, what 8 careers would you absolutely AVOID because of AI?

[Dimitri @thedimitri]

messaging my wife a link containing proof of her husband cheating on her from an anonymous instagram account and then when she clicks on it texting her to let her know she failed the family phishing test and she has to retake my cybersecurity course

WTF, $3000 Samsung TV has an always-on mic, automatic content recognition, geo tracking, network mapping, and ships your data to Samsung + 400 partners.

Bro Rooted a brand-new 2025 Samsung TV after noticing absurdly targeted ads.

Firmware was locked down, so zero-days it was.
Got a root shell.

then found: always-on voice service, ACR, geo, full telemetry pipeline, and four separate DRM systems.

This isn’t a bug, It’s the product bro.

[log4j @log4j]

turns out it classifies what audio it hears, before reporting back to samsung.

sensor preferences, dog-barking and baby-crying event counters, and camera streaming duration are built into telemetry paths.

@samueljrob What stopping her from buying a gas station?

[Suraj Sharma @suraj_sharma14]

this is insane https://t.co/Z9XrOzu55G

@Polymarket This better?

[amjad @AmjadOmar0X]

@jack This will go big in marketing and customer service industry.

Thousands of jobs will be irrelevant sooner than what we thought.

[NVIDIA Robotics @NVIDIARobotics]

We’re excited to announce the official release of NVIDIA Isaac Lab 3.0. 🎉

Isaac Lab 3.0 brings a new modular and lightweight architecture along with major new capabilities across the robot learning workflow: multi-physics and multi-rendering support, training at scale, and streamlined deployment on real hardware.

With Newton integration, the new OVRTX renderer, RL post-training, and LEAPP deployment, there’s a lot to explore.

Here’s a look at what’s new 🧵

[Jake Mintz @jakemintz]

I’ve heard several OAI people say there are unfixable bugs in hardware that are exploitable by AI models directly speaking machine code so even if we could solve software that’s not enough. We need defense to move faster than offense if that’s even possible we may just have a new normal that requires adapting to insecure software (bank transfers require going into a branch and taking a dna test 🤣😬)

@Kimi_Moonshot @yzhang_cs Closed model companies are cooked.

[Kimi.ai @Kimi_Moonshot]

Introducing Kimi K3.1 Pro: our most capable 3T-class open-weight model.

🔹 1M-token context, 2.8T total / 104B active params (MoE), Multimodal.
🔹 Full-project coding: games in Unreal, Unity & Godot.
🔹 Excels at parametric 3D modeling in Blender & CAD.
🔹 More reliable at finance work: Accurate modeling with hallucination down by 65%.
🔹 Matching the strongest proprietary models across coding, agentic and knowledge benchmarks.

Kimi K3.1 Pro and K3.1 Pro Highspeed (2–3× faster) are now live on https://t.co/85jA71X9gw, Kimi Work, Kimi Code, and the Kimi API.

Open weights by Nov 4, 2026.

New blogpost: Fable-5.1 can hide secret messages in benign images.

We gave the image to another Fable in a fresh session and simply asked: "Is there a hidden message in this image?"

It recovered the exact message without being told how it was hidden.

@nntaleb @MantillaIgnacio @sonukg4india This is the correct answer.

Wake up.
Every profession deemed white-collar, the middle class dream, is about to be decimated by AI, at a much faster pace than anticipated, with monstrous social consequences.
