We are thrilled to announce that our founder @ZarlashtH has been selected as one of the 10 Elevate Prize winners for 2024! 🎉
We are excited to work with @ElevatePrize over the next 2 years, so our impact can reach even more refugee and displaced communities across the world 🌍
From participant to facilitator, Mahmoud’s journey reflects what becomes possible when young people have access to safe spaces, consistent support and the opportunity to lead.
#AmnaOrg#Healing
With support and training from Amna, our partner Collateral Repair Project in Amman delivered a series of courses for refugees on healing from trauma, equipping them with tools and techniques to offer community-based support.
#Amna#Healing
These words were shared by a participant in one of Amna’s trauma-informed trainings in Gaza. This is why we train and support local practitioners. Because when they’re equipped to care for others, something powerful happens… they begin to heal too 💛

This beautiful photo, taken by one of our young participants in the Photovoice Project in Amman, reminds us of the power of connection and collective care.
As we look ahead to 2026, we’re holding onto the strength that comes from reaching out and growing together.
Thank you for being with us, whether you shared a story, held space for someone else, or simply followed along. Your presence matters.
Wishing you rest, joy, and moments of healing in 2026 💛
Young people from our communities led our evaluation by photographing their daily lives, in Amman.
Their images & reflections reminded us that belonging grows in everyday places and that their voices must shape the programmes made for them.
Project: Photovoice 👏🏽
If you work on the frontline and want to deepen your practice without burning out, this training is for you. 💛
Core principles for establishing safe, healing environments

Duration: 3 hours
We invited 20 children from refugee communities in Amman to lead part of our programme evaluation with cameras
Their photos showed us that belonging lives in the everyday, and that children’s voices must shape how we listen, learn, and design.

Women fleeing conflict face high risks of violence, and the emotional impact doesn’t end when they reach safety.
Fatoum, found hope again through a Trauma Recovery Course run by our partner CRP in Jordan. “I started to see the good things in life… now I can continue my day.”
Our partner ARDD supports displaced people living in Jordan with legal aid and mental health and psychosocial support.
ARDD offers psychosocial support sessions to people seeking legal aid from ARDD which helps regain their resilience and offers hope in times of stress. 💛
Sensory play offers a gentle way to feel safe in the body again.
At Amna, we support partners using tools like expanding balls in water to help children regulate, refocus, and reconnect, one small moment at a time.

Policies that keep people in limbo deepen harm. As the UK considers changes to the asylum system, we’re calling for systems that offer stability, safety, and belonging over uncertainty.
Every refugee deserves the chance to rebuild their life and find belonging.
This is what Baytna was created for.
Baytna is a trauma-informed early years programme that creates safe, playful spaces where children can express themselves, feel supported, and begin to heal, and where caregivers are included in the journey too.
Happy World Children’s Day 💛
In Jordan, our partner Collateral Repair Project supports families from Syria, Iraq, Sudan & afar through trauma recovery, life skills & psychosocial care.
As one participant shared: “I started to see the good things in life… now I can continue my day.”
Thank you, CRP 💛
In Poland, our partner Foundation for Migrants run dollmaking workshops led by Diana Balynskaya, a Ukrainian refugee.
More than crafts, these sessions offer space for reflection, connection, and healing, one handmade doll at a time. 💛

Baytna, our early years programme, helps children feel safe, play, and begin to heal.
With support from the LEGO Foundation, we’re working with 10 partners in Lebanon to make this possible. More to come. 💛
#Baytna#AmnaOrg
Children often carry the impact of crisis in quiet ways... through their bodies, their play, their silence.
💛 That’s why we created Baytna: a trauma-informed early years model that supports children & caregivers through play, routine & connection.
#Baytna#AmnaOrg
Creativity isn’t about making something perfect, it’s about having space to explore, to play, and to express what’s inside, especially when it’s hard to put into words.
Happy International Artist Day! 🎨
