After plenary, I had the distinct honour of visiting a public servant that the entire nation should be proud of, the Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Commission, CM Shehu Mohammed. A proud leader from our beloved Kaduna State. The recently appointed CM of the @FRSCNigeria is as a father to me by virtue of his close association to the former Governor of Kaduna, Baba @elrufai before I was even born. I visited the CM to wish him well and commend him for his immediate strategic moves to rejig the commission to ensure road safety, particularly in our highways, and increase transportation innovation. It was fantastic to witness the high morale in the Commission and the open door policy he has sustained from the time of his predecessor, former CM Dauda Biu. An amazing public servant in his own right. I pledged our humble support as lawmakers to CM Shehu Mohammed and pleaded with him to remember the young men and women of Kaduna North when it comes to recruitment and other opportunities, within the confines of the law. As a former Assistant Corp Marshall, I have no doubt that the Commission is in good hands under his tutelage. I would like to thank him for giving our team the time to pay him a visit. May God guide him and his team as they continue to discharge their duties.
