@ENG425_WCinema This was my first time seeing the original. I thought it was very well done, and I appreciated the calming music in the background even though the world itself seemed to be hectic and chaotic with problems we couldn’t understand today (like robots pretending to be humans).
@ENG425_WCinema The main thing I want to talk about is the interview portion and how they made this movie seem more formal and more like “reality” than some fictional crazy syfy movie.
@ENG425_WCinema I liked the movie. What I found was interesting was the fact that no matter what we turn into we always have a way to form into a version of society, categorized by classes.
@msjordanalexis@ENG425_WCinema I appreciated those shots that sometimes seemed dragged out in a doorway or windows. It really kept you intrigued and wanting to know what was going on.
@ENG425_WCinema What I loved about the film is the camera angles and the use of music during specific dramatic scenes. This film does a great job in making scenes suspenseful even though it wasn’t necessary. And I liked the fact that it was a foreign film, I think you should watch all films.
@ENG425_WCinema What I found interesting about the movie was how relevant it still is today. I really liked this film and the story behind it. I liked how it constantly showed different people point of views, and different people opinions I think it added a certain element to the film.
@ENG425_WCinema I think the camera and binoculars were the most important because not only did it play into the story well that he was a photographer but it also made sense for a way that he could spy on his neighbors. I thought he was going to use his camera to take pictures but he never did.
@ENG425_WCinema I've never seen this film and I am aware it is a classic, but saying that I'm not a big musical fan. I liked this movie and the story line behind and how it showed the Hollywood story. I love the idea of showing how audio was brought into the movie industry.
@ENG425_WCinema The best part about this film in my opinion was the raw beauty in shooting this film. As I was watching the film you could see the extras go about their business as if they weren't even aware they were being filmed and just living their usual lives struggling day by day.
