AMP 16U walked away with a big league win against the Diamond Boys 6-1.

After dropping the season opener last week, 16U responded by making a run to the championship and earned the Runner-Up trophy in the 16U OPL Tournament.
First hardware of the season is in the books. Time to build on the momentum and keep rolling!

Tourney play didn’t go our way this weekend – dug some holes and just didn’t have enough ☹. Players with multiple hits and RBI this weekend:

The boys got back in the win column w/ a 12-2 victory over DNA. AMP15U was led on the mound by Mory 5IP 1H 2ER CG. AMP15U collected 11 hits and were paced by Brown 1BB 2H 2R and Ice (2H 2R 1RBI on offense. Others collecting RBI were Fletcher, Mory, Simon, Lunn, Knowles, Smith.

AMP 15U earns their first win of the season with a total team effort . 7 players collected hits including Jones 2RBI, Mory and Simon w/ an RBI each. 

Mory led off on the mound giving up just 2H,  2ER, 6K(4IP) followed by Ice who shut the door with 3H, 1ER and 1K (2IP).
