Please share this post with other psychologists with professional links to Palestine and any others who would like to support our colleagues in both Gaza and the West Bank facing tremendous challenges in their work right now @BPSOfficial@UK_ACP@BABCP (1/3)
We completely agree 🙌🏾 + this is the reason why Amplify Trainee mentoring scheme has been set up. It is important that we acknowledge that the challenges faced prior to training continue and can become more complex whilst on training
I love the diversity that I’m seeing for people getting onto #dclinpsy training, especially from ethnically minoritised candidates like myself, however I’m really hoping that courses have support in place for the struggles that we continue to face on training & after training🙌🏽
Amplify Trainee Mentoring Scheme has primarily been set up to support trainees on the following courses: Exeter, Bath, South Wales and Southampton. We hope in the near future to be able to extend this opportunity to all ethnic minority trainees on other Dclin courses
We have finally made it! 15 mentees + 15 mentors have been matched 🎉. We are wishing them all the best with their mentoring journey + relationship. I'm grateful for both the mentees + mentors patience + support. Without them + the DclinPsy courses, Amplify wouldn't be here today
We are looking for Eastern European Mentors to join our scheme to support Amplify Trainee Mentees - if you are interested please do get in touch either on Twitter DMs or email ([email protected]). Please share if you know anyone who may be interested
Excited to announce @AmplifyTrainee will be supporting racially minoritised clinical psychology trainees on the following Dclin Psy courses - Exeter, @DClinPsySWales, Southampton + Bath 🎉✨🎉
Trainees who are interested in joining the scheme please do get touch!
*PLEASE SHARE & RE-TWEET*

Thanks @HasanWaheed0 for your help!
Courses have a long way to go to create safe nurturing environments for ethnic minorities, reports of racism + discrimination continue to emerge @DclinReveal - my hope is that ATMS can be seen as a step in providing protected spaces for trainees to heal and feel supported.
Hello all, we are currently recruiting ethnic minority clinical psychologists to be mentors for ATMS. ATMS is a mentoring scheme for ethnic minority trainee clinical psychologists - If you are interested in being a mentor to a trainee please drop me a DM and spread the word!
I began working on establishing ATMS when I was in my 2nd year of training(2017-2018), as a racially minoritised trainee I often encountered moments of feeling incredibly isolated due to experiences related to my ethnic/racial/cultural identity on the course and on placement
Breaking Through Mentoring Scheme (2021-2022) registration is now open! Please follow the link to enrol. The scheme is for ethnic minority aspiring clinical psychologists. You do not need to be based in the southwest to enrol. Closing date - 31/07/21

Huge congratulations @AccidentallyACT + @maryoliviern 🎉 The work that you have put into SNAPbam in your own time is admirable + inspiring. You have created a much need protective space for ethnic minority aspiring CP’s. Keep pushing + transforming the profession of ClinPsy 🌟
Such a wonderful experience to share my + @KhyPatel7 mentoring journey with @Afsana_PhD on the @WAU_Podcast. Thank you for enabling us to share our story, we hope it will encourage others to join + support mentoring schemes for ethnic minority aspiring clinical psychologists :)
First day as psychological workforce lead at @MaudsleyNHS. My role will focus on the development of the qualified psychology and psychotherapy workforce, whilst my colleague will be attending to the needs of those earlier in their career e.g., aspiring psychologists (1/5)
