@teortaxesTex@BrianSJ3 I mean something along the lines of "if you have a big pressure vessel you better make sure it's engineered not to (ex/im)plode with people around" would seem sane but it's hard to see how that would be in conflict with also having it withstand other forces it's expected to see

There's a Dutch horror/mystery movie called "The Lift" (1983) where the plot is basically like this except instead of playing Doom the brain cells are used to operate an elevator
