Good evening Dear Students and all Stakeholders of our University Community. I wish to inform you that all students Programmes and Public gatherings have been suspended until further notice. This decision is in the direction of goodwill for our Dear institution. I urge us all
On behalf of the SRC, I wish to inform all students that the deadline for course and biometric registration has been extended by two weeks thus from the 6th of February to the 20th of February, 2026.
I entreat all continuing students to kindly make all or exactly half payment of academic fees before the deadline otherwise, they stand to be automatically deferred.
NB: There shall be no extension after the deadline is due.
Transport challenges at Bomso Gate, Brunei, and Pharmacy catchments are receiving urgent SRC attention. Solutions are underway. Your struggles are seen, and we remain committed to action.

Our attention has been drawn to the intense congestion at the Engineering gate at peak hours and in swift response to this avoidable instance, we have further proceeded to engage University management to relocate the shops in the gateway which are the primary cause of this congestion.
This is to ensure easy passage of our Dear Students at any given point in time. We are patiently waiting to breathe a sigh of relief in the shortest coming days.
Freshmen are still rallying in their numbers as the Great Hall reaches full capacity.
The SRC remains committed to prioritizing the interests of all students and keeping our doors always open.
We’re glad to have you!!!

Earlier today, I went to engage with workers on the new hostel construction site next to Unity hall.
I probed how much accommodation capacity the hostel can contain and all that there is to be known.
Conclusively, I can evidently tell that more of such initiatives will do us a great deal of accommodative relief here in KNUST Mr. President. @JDMahama
Greetings, KNUST community. Upon my swearing in as Speaker of the 17th SRC Parliament on September 11, 2025, I am humbled by the trust bestowed upon me. I express gratitude to Almighty God and thank @realShakirIsHaq for the appointment and all who have shown confidence in me.
The essence of advanced education is to equip the son of man with even more empirical knowledge of societal problems. Yearnings to create change and eliminate challenges are evidence of its satisfactory utilization, and actualizing them in our lives implies goodwill to progeny and, for us, progress in our lives.
The future is ours to decide…
With our conscience as our reference point and sane societal norms as our guide,
let’s make the world a better place for all.
Badwenma! Ayekoo!
