North East had the honour to take part and host the 2026 Syed Taalay Ahmed Memorial Shield tournament in our hometown of Hartlepool.

Most importantly, the tournament raised over £3,000 for some incredible causes. A brilliant way to honour Taalay's memory.

Alhamdullilah, Newcastle khuddam hit the pitch today and gave it their all. After an intense session full of skill, speed, and some amazing goals, The final score read 14-11.

Big Iftar – Newcastle 🌙
Alhamdulillah, MKA Newcastle & Newcastle Jamaat held a Big Iftar on Sunday, 15th March 2026.
49 guests attended, including a local councilor, police officer, and members of the wider community.
Guests were very happy and impressed by the volunteers. 🤍

Alhamdulillah, Hartlepool Atfal visited Elwick Grange Care Home today. The Atfal and residents shared a wonderful time together - answering questions about Islam and enjoying painting activities. A lovely opportunity to build connections and bring joy.
