I've spent my summer holidays helping out with Summer School at the school I work for delivering science sessions for 9,10 and 11 year olds. 3 weeks later I'm out of ideas. Does anyone have any? They are 40 minute sessions and need to be pretty engaging.
The world just lost some sparkle. A man filled with fun and love who exuded it freely. A legacy of support, tenderness, warmth affection, trust and love.
What a day, what an opportunity, what a 3 years. First class degree, a little mention from the vice chancellor, friends for life and probably too much drink π¬. Thanks for the experience all. @StaffsUni @JazBaz20@SUBioscience
@EarlyYearsAmy @drkatyvigurs @EarlyYearsAmy I'm so sorry we didn't realise you were off for the rest of the week! Thank you so much for the love, guidance, support and fun you have given to Niall he absolutely adores you. There will be a gift waiting for you when you get back. All the best for the futureβ€οΈ
I found out I will be graduating with a First Class degree inbetween innoculating agar plates π§«for Y9 kids and making up 2 litres of Copper (II) Sulphateπ·οΈ whilst surrounded by past Science teachers who I am now fortunate enough to call colleagues and friends.
And that is that. What an experience. Thank you to every single person who made the last 3 years enjoyable. Thank you @ArthurHosie for keeping me sane through out π. I made friends for life and a career path to keep me occupied for the foreseeable. @JazBaz20@SUBioscience
Thought I would treat myself after putting the final touches to my project. 3 years ago i would never have trusted myself to see university through until the end. Old me would be so proud of how far we have come.
I got ridiculously excited to see this in the new Catalyst building @StaffsUni !!! Niall took the words out of my mouth with a "WOW!". @ChangingPlaceUK a beautiful new accessible bathroom to add to a very small list of accessible bathrooms in Stoke on Trent. π

Rare diseases touch everyone around the person, I like to think my people got better π

@JazBaz20 All stores are the same. I walk around sometimes going but I don't want my top to say 'Gratitude, Positivity' or have a giant pair of lips why cant it just be plain π. I happily chose my clothes from the men's section.
