A rare Mick and Keith vocal duet – The Rolling Stones have released ‘Bad Luck Hideaway’ across all streaming platforms, serving as the B-side to ‘Mr. Charm’.
Originally an iTunes-exclusive bonus track, the song features Charlie Watts on drums, recorded during sessions at British Grove in 2015.
I try to play, or understand how to play, or just how to listen, and I keep forgetting and trying again and sometimes learn something new and sometimes remember something old.

Ignatius: Hegseth "has dismissed 26 generals and admirals since he became defense secretary and blocked or withheld the promotions of about 55 others, according to a careful count by a congressional official who helps oversee the Pentagon. This purge has driven out some of the military’s most respected combat veterans — the very warriors Hegseth claims he wants to support."
@JoyceCarolOates I would have gone but for the Gator football game - and now questioning my choice. Lucky to have three theaters here who broadcast the Met.
just as an hypothesis: if in seemingly romantic or quasi-romantic circumstances at 11 PM a young woman indicates "consent" with a partner that does not rule out that, abruptly at 1 AM, when the circumstances have changed considerably, & are no longer even quasi-romantic, she can't "withdraw consent"; it is only reasonable to think that if circumstances change even more grimly, by 4 AM, if the young woman, now coerced, treated brutally, is desperately pleading to be let go, her stated or implied "consent" at 11 PM is now rescinded?
would guess that variants of this distressing experience happen often to girls & women & the consequence is that "blame" seems ambiguous, so the victim retreats in silence, abused, humiliated but unwilling to even talk about it let alone press charges.

I have long enjoyed reading the tax returns of presidents and candidates. This one deprived me of that pleasure and right to be informed.
