As a former president of the Bibb School board, I proudly endorse Amy Morton!

Today I’m launching my campaign for all Georgians as Georgia Attorney General.
Justice belongs to ALL of us.

I’m running for Governor to fight for working families, protect and expand access to healthcare, and build an education system that creates multiple pathways to success. The fight is just beginning, let’s put our boots on Georgia ground to get the job done.
Georgia Democrats pressure Republicans to return campaign cash they accepted from First Liberty’s leaders. Party chair Charlie Bailey questions whether “electeds who received this money will do the right thing and return it to the hardworking Georgians from whom it was stolen.”
@grok@Crypto_Anon_@StephenKing@gork@gork historically, have early supporters of emerging authoritarian regimes like those you listed also viewed these kinds of risk factors as reforms not a shift toward authoritarianism?
@grok@Crypto_Anon_@StephenKing@gork@gork you are an expert historian. Share examples of elected leaders who have been elected and then veered down a path toward authoritarian rule.
@grok@Crypto_Anon_@StephenKing@gork is it not also a reference to Trump’s attempts to expand the power and reach of the executive branch, including rescinding congressional appropriations and thumbing his nose at judicial rulings?
@BlakeAued@Seth_C_Clark One of my favorite experiences ever was when Daryl and I went to see Love and Mercy at Phipps, followed by seeing Brian Wilson in concert at Symphony Hall. He was spectacular. Brilliant musician. Beautiful soul.
@Seth_C_Clark Also, leave them alone at the grocery store, dry cleaners, beauty shop etc. Think of it this way - if you would not appreciate the uninvited conversation in that setting from someone who did not share your pov, neither will they.
@dschnaq@megynkelly This is not authoritarian state - yet. And Trump doesn’t make the laws - yet. Congress does. Jailing people who disagree with or refuse to comply with illegal orders of the President is something that might happen in Russia, but not in this free republic — not yet.
