Trump isn’t decorating the White House. He’s desperately spray-painting his own failure in 24-karat gold and calling it “heritage.” Gold wings, birthday branding, “gifts” to himself, palace cosplay — it’s not stewardship. It’s a sad, flaccid little man trying to convince himself he’s an emperor while the country watches him jerk off to his own reflection in the new fixtures.

A strong president governs.

A weak one redecorates.

He needs the gold because he can’t deliver the results. He needs the spectacle because he has nothing else. He needs the constant self-worship because actual leadership — the kind that requires discipline, restraint, and delivering for people who aren’t named Trump — is completely beyond him. So he turns the people’s house into his personal Versailles of mediocrity and expects applause for it.

Real power doesn’t need to be gilded. Real authority doesn’t announce itself with gold leaf and birthday parties for the president. That’s what you do when you have nothing else to show. That’s what you do when the only thing you’ve built in office is a monument to your own insecurity.

He’s not leading the country.

He’s turning the stage into a shrine because he already lost the plot.

This isn’t strength. It’s the visual confession of a man who knows, deep down, that without the gold, the branding, and the constant self-aggrandizement, there’s nothing left. Just another weak president who couldn’t govern, so he chose to LARP as royalty instead.
