Yesterday I was described as a ‘relational reporter’. I had to ask what that was. They said it’s a journalist who (to cut a long description short) — takes the time, shows empathy, follows up. “As opposed to an extractive or transactional reporter.” I like that.
I drew this last November 26th knowing full well no self-respecting family newspaper in the country would be likely to print it. I was right. But given the events of this weekend, I’m gonna to let ‘er rip anyway.
