Everyone saying Miami isn’t going to become a major American tech hub has one thing in common:
they’re not in the room.
The right people are here. Everyone’s on the same wavelength. The momentum is palpable.
It’s easy to dismiss a wave when you’re nowhere near the water.
kinda chic to quit your depressing job
yeet yourself into learning emerging tech,
move away from all your friends and family to lock in on learning, healing, leveling up and create an inspiring life
I know this is going to get me canceled, but I’d rather eat drywall than attend another women in tech event where we decorate cupcakes, go around the room introducing ourselves for an hour, and answer “what challenges have you faced as a woman in in a male dominated field?”
One of My favorite things I’ve been doing is categorizing if people are: sun, moon or earth.

There is no context just purely vibes, if you don’t know what you are… ask your friends they will tell you.

No state income tax. Global gateway. Year-round talent magnet. Real estate still cheaper (for now). And leaders who ACTUALLY want business here.
Meanwhile the “old capitals” are regulating themselves into irrelevance and wondering why capital and talent is fleeing.
The future of finance and tech isn’t in Manhattan or Silicon Valley anymore.
It’s in on the beach.
