Here’s a great one-sheet from NAVA about the strike and what areas of voiceover are impacted.
The good news is that most areas of VO are unaffected, especially those that everyday voice actors tend to earn in most.
That said, whether you’re union or non-union, what’s at stake here affects all of us. The union has stated that non-union talent taking work covered under the strike will be ineligible for membership in the future, and I hope that regardless of your status each and every one of us will stand up and refuse to let the corporations who forced this action to win. Protect your career and those of your colleagues and refuse to work on struck projects regardless of your union affiliation. It’s the right thing to do.
