Once I stopped needing to be needed, I freed myself from the identity of being a coach that helps you look at your past. Now I’m completely aligned with my true identity of helping people perform at a high level. The shift in my needs addressed the shift in my identity.

But what I really wanted was to help people perform at a high level. However, my identity was so wrapped up in making people look at their pasts, I wasn’t helping them focus on their present to create a big future.

I was caught up in the need I created in my coaching industry. I was such a good marketer that I made people feel they needed me to help them heal from their pasts. I loved feeling needed. So my identity was based on helping others overcome their pasts.

So if I’m worthy without my money and success, what do I do now? If I didn’t need my business to prove my worth, do I not need to work? Can I quit my business? No because I absolutely love coaching. I’m great at it. The world needs coaches like me. I do it to serve & earn income.

After years of therapy, I had to be willing to see that I was using my business success as a measure of my worth. The clients. The money. Feeling needed to solve a problem. I had to learn to separate my skills as a coach from my worth as a person. They’re mutually exclusive.

The more I heal, the more I do things simply out of a loving desire to serve others and serve myself. That���s it. It’s not for followers, likes, saves, downloads, money, fame, acceptance, status, or titles.

What will make you feel accepting is not by adding more to your life. Society teaches you to add all of the wrong things. It’s about removing. You will be ok with you when you address the parts of you that tell you you’re not ok. Remove the lies you’ve told yourself.

The more I heal, the more I find all my worth in the authentic expression of who I truly am. I know that when I am expressing my ideas, needs, fears, desires, dreams, boundaries, opinions…that’s where all the magic lives.

The more I heal, the less I need to be viewed by others as successful, rich, productive, good enough, beautiful, ambitious, smart, lovable and worthy.
