VICTORY ⚡
Vs @Anubis_eSports
2-1
We adapt. We strike. We close it out.
Strong start to the split but this is just the beginning.
We’re here to dominate.

IT’S GAME DAY
New split. Same hunger.
We step into the Arabian League Spring Split ready to make noise.

“You can feel it instantly.”
Every esports player and coach knows what I mean.
You join practice. You load into scrims.
And you can feel when something is off between you and your coach.
It doesn’t matter how good the strat is.
If the relationship is weak, performance suffers.
I’ve seen it too many times.
And we still don’t talk about it enough.
🫴 To the players first
You can have insane mechanics.
You can grind 10 hours a day.
You can know every meta shift.
But if you don’t trust your coach, something tightens inside.
You hesitate.
You second-guess calls.
Feedback feels personal.
Pressure feels heavier.
When you trust your coach?
You play freer.
You take feedback faster.
You recover quicker.
You feel supported, not judged.
That changes everything.
And this is not just “soft talk”.
Research on Olympic athletes showed that strong coach–athlete relationships were directly linked to better performance, higher motivation, and stronger mental resilience. Trust and shared goals improved results under pressure.
Olympic level.
The difference wasn’t just talent.
It was relationship quality.
Why would esports be different?
🫴 From an esports ecosystem perspective
Esports focuses heavily on:
Mechanics
Strategy
Analytics
Performance metrics
All important.
But we forget something simple:
Esports is human.
When coach-player relationships are strong:
Teams are more stable.
Burnout is lower.
Conflicts are solved faster.
Performance becomes consistent, not just peaks.
Healthy relationships don’t just win games.
They help the whole ecosystem mature.
🫴 Now to the coaches
Many esports coaches are brilliant at the game.
But relationship building? Often secondary.
Two big reasons:
1️⃣ Too focused on the game, not enough on the people
Perfect strategy doesn’t unlock a player if trust is missing.
Players are emotional, ambitious, stressed humans.
If you don’t understand the person, you can’t unlock the player.
“Bro vibes” aren’t enough.
Connection is a skill.
2️⃣ Lack of training
Most coaches were former players.
Few were trained in communication, emotional intelligence, or leadership.
Many rely on intuition.
But relationship building is trainable, and powerful.
Esports pressure is intense.
Short contracts.
Public criticism.
High expectations.
Players don’t just need strategy.
They need stability.
Often, the coach is the closest leader in their daily environment.
If that relationship is strong, players feel safe to grow.
If it’s weak, they feel alone — even in a team.
Practical
For players:
Don’t just ask for the plan. Ask how to improve communication.
Be honest. Invest in trust.
For coaches:
Spend 1-on-1 time without talking about the game.
Ask more than you tell.
Listen before correcting.
“Connect before correct.” is your mantra.
Championships aren’t built on mechanics alone.
They’re built on trust.
If esports wants to grow, the human side must grow too.
Because behind every play…
there’s a person.
