The officer who got insulted by Abhijeet Dipke yesterday made a huge statement 🚨

Question - Why were you rude to the people coming to Abhijeet Dipke's house?

Officer - Are you paid by him too? He treats all the media persons nicely because he wants them to publish good things about him. He feeds them all 3 times a day with biscuits, Cokes, bhel puris. He didn't even ask the security guards or us officers even once. He told us to strictly not let anyone enter his house without his permission.

I just did my duty and then he came down and started shouting at me. My son was there. It would have been so sad for him to see me get humiliated like this. I have served for many years. While he lives in the US and now he thinks he can disrespect me? This same Abhijeet Dipke disrespects Modi ji, officers, Anna Hazare, every elder. We get it. You want to create a narrative that you are fighting for Gen Z but it doesn't mean you have to disrespect every elder around you. I have served him for a week and I can clearly see that his whole personality is fake."

Abhijeet is just a mannerless millennial guy and because of him, Gen Z is getting defamed every day 🙏

Old OBC woman told the reality behind 75 years of reservation 🚨

"I'm a Yadav woman. My late husband belonged to the SC community. He was very handsome. He received many marriage proposals from his own community as he was IAS but he chose me because I was also very beautiful. Don't judge me by how I look now (laughs)

I'm here for my daughter's child, who is facing hardships in life because of the reservation. My grandchild who's weak in studies got college easily because of it. People here keep talking about discrimination but in many cases, they themselves discriminate. Once some people become financially well, they refuse to marry within their own community and instead look for a girl from the general category

My husband always visited temples, and no one could stop him. It is the poor who face the greatest discrimination, whether they belong to GC or the SC/ST. Reforming the reservation system is the need of the hour."

Every time a wealthy SC person receives the benefit of reservation, a poor from GC loses that opportunity. This is the reality of reservation 🙏

His name was Hangpan Dada.

He was born on October 2 1979 in Borduria village, Tirap district, Arunachal Pradesh, the youngest of six children in a Nocte tribal family.

As a child he ran several kilometres every morning and did twenty-five push-ups before school. He joined the Indian Army at eighteen.

He served in the Parachute Regiment, then transferred to the Assam Regiment and later joined the Rashtriya Rifles, the Army's dedicated counter-insurgency force. His comrades called him Dada.

On the night of May 26 2016, Havildar Hangpan Dada was leading a section at a post called Sabu, high in the Shamsabari ranges in Kupwara, Jammu and Kashmir, at an altitude of approximately 13,000 feet.

Intelligence indicated that a group of heavily armed Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists were attempting to infiltrate across the Line of Control.

Dada established a stop along the route they were expected to take. When the terrorists appeared, he charged.

He killed the first two in direct contact. The third came at him as the group slid down the slope toward the LoC and he killed him in a hand-to-hand fight. The fourth terrorist, hiding behind a boulder, opened fire. A burst of automatic fire hit Dada in the neck.

He continued to pin down the fourth terrorist, preventing his escape, before he lost consciousness.

He died from his injuries. The fourth terrorist was later captured.

Havildar Hangpan Dada was 36 years old. He is survived by his wife Chasen Lowang Dada, a daughter named Roukhin and a son named Senwang.

He was posthumously awarded the Ashok Chakra, India's highest peacetime gallantry decoration. His wife received it from the President of India at the Republic Day ceremony in 2017.

The Assam Regimental Centre named its main office block after him. A school, a memorial and a museum stand in Borduria village.

Most Indians have never heard his name.

Back then, the yatra demanded time, endurance, & faith. The journey wasn’t incidental; it WAS the pilgrimage.

Today, access is easier. And that’s a good thing because it opens the experience to many more.

But perhaps something still needs preserving?

The ability to slow down & savour the experience of traveling.

Because journeys are about who we become along the way.
