NEW: Ahead of the SpaceX IPO, we tracked hundreds of promises that Musk has made over the years (FSD, Mars etc). His success rate is…not good. And it’s getting worse. Some actual data in our months long analysis: https://t.co/u3McNwUE80
Ishan Kishan said “I know some people may say my words sound strong, but I believe some things are bigger than cricket contracts or franchise money. For me, the country always comes first. If a situation ever comes where I feel that my values and my country’s pride are being ignored, I will not stay silent just for the sake of playing in a league.
That’s why I’ve said clearly — if Kavya Maran does not release Pakistani player Abrar Ahmed, then Abhishek Sharma and I would rather release ourselves from the Sunrisers Hyderabad team. We would not play for that franchise again. Some people may call this emotional, but I call it standing by what you believe in.
Modern cricket is changing fast. Today there is huge money, big auctions, and business decisions everywhere. But I still feel there must be a line where players remember who they represent and what their country means to millions of fans watching them.
I respect every player’s talent, but at the end of the day, pride for your nation should always be above league politics or franchise interests. If standing by that belief costs me an IPL team, so be it.”

Not only is there no cure for ALS, but there isn't an effective treatment available for those fighting the disease.
This #ALSAwarenessMonth, I'm calling on my colleagues to join me and support investments in ALS research to find a cure.
You can measure runs, partnerships, and strike rates, but the real stat here is intent. Loved the positive approach with the bat and the cool heads in the field. That’s the mindset you want in knockout cricket.
Great to see Sanju Samson carry his form into this match and set the tempo early!
Eyes on the final. 🇮🇳

What's your take 😆
Article 25 protects freedom of conscience, not religious optics. Hijab = celebrated. Temple visit = fatwa. Support = missing.
If a Muslim woman’s choice is punished and leaders stay silent, that’s not secularism, that’s selective outrage.

@mkobach I think humanity would gain tremendously more by investing in cures for diseases like cancer, depression, Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, ALS, Huntington's, etc.
Self-driving cars? Meh.
What if the key to stopping #ALS comes down to one tiny molecule?
A new TAU study has shown that reintroducing a single missing RNA molecule can protect nerve cells and even help them regenerate.
The team, led by Prof. Eran Perlson, found that people with ALS don’t produce enough microRNA-126, a molecule that normally keeps a toxic protein called TDP-43 in check.
When it’s missing, the protein builds up, motor neurons lose energy, and the disease progresses.
Restoring that molecule in human cells and in ALS model mice reduced the toxic buildup and kept the neurons alive.
It’s early, but it opens a real door toward a future RNA-based treatment for a disease that currently has none.

@TheDrugMoney Wouldn't you want our innovation to focus on cures for any of these instead:
Alzheimer's
Parkinson's
ALS
MS
Cancers
I sure would. Self-driving cars seems incredibly frivolous when some if us have to watch our loved ones die...
