You always know a conspiracy theory when it ties all these disparate things into one "narrative". Nothing about workers, nothing about leading education, nothing about protecting and preserving the past.
Yet another unintentionally hilarious post from our favorite antisemitic archaeological poseur
Jimmy, you’re missing that you would still have exactly 0 authority over sites outside the United States.
And arguably little over any within the US outside the federal system

I would recommend that people like Alan take time to familiarise themselves with the planning process and the role of archaeologists before attempting to brush them with broad strokes. As Alan points out, it is ministers and politicians who are to blame for it.
A pretty disappointing headline and write up from @AlanPurple who doesn't seem to understand the value of archaeology, and that new finds in places can add rich textures to our heritage https://t.co/rpRiFiyTlo
Is an asset to our country. The price of archaeology is important, many companies in the UK work on very small margins, so let's be clear, there's not archaeologists rolling in stacks of cash because an overrunning infrastructure project is paying them to do their job.

Hi all! I developed this survey as part of my @ace_national DYCP and would be so grateful if anyone who identifies as neurodivergent & is working in the sector could take some time to fill it out so the fantastic @NeuroMuseum can keep making the change we need! ✨❤️🥰✨
If you are studying or working in archaeology or manage a business offering archaeological services in Northern Ireland, make sure to fill out this survey! It shouldn't take more than 15min and your responses are invaluable for the project!
When someone describes a mountain and it's actually a molehill, they are lying to try and get you angry over nothing. Because they have nothing else, it's rage bait for boomers.
Astroturfed outrage to feed off the nostalgia of sectarianism. Imagine within a cost of living crisis, constant political stalemate and the UK government having to step in, that an Irish Language School is the hill to die on.
Two more banners have now appeared near Clonduff highlighting the lack of consultation, engagement and respect for the local community over the divisive Gaelic-language school. Whatever your view of the school, it has been woefully mismanaged from the outset and we are now witnessing the consequences of that. The site would be best used for something that is accessible to, enjoys the support of and materially benefits the people who live in the immediate area. Everyone has the right to learn and speak the language of their choosing, but there are alternative spaces the Gaelic language school ought to consider which are much more suitable for their ambitions. Stop ignoring local residents. Common sense must prevail.
To that last point, imagine if you wanted your child to have an education but you were hung up on one language being taught at a school that your child probably won't go to (as far as I'm aware it's self funded and already oversubscribed school). It's also a temporary location.
