All HWDSB schools, admin buildings and child care centres are closed today, Feb. 16, due to severe weather conditions. All remote and in-person learning, including the Elementary Remote Learning Program, are cancelled. Buses are not running.❄️❄️❄️
We are preparing for February 11 as the date when HWDSB students will return to in-person learning.
If there is an announcement by the Ministry of Education to extend the remote learning period, we will share the update with the community.

• Call or email your school if you are unable to access the Parent Portal. School office staff can input your choice into HWDSB’s student information system.
• Parents and guardians from the Remote Learning School can contact the main office for support.
• By the end of the day Friday, January 22, teachers will connect with students who would benefit from the additional supports.
• All students may submit outstanding assignments up until noon, Thursday, January 28.
Update on learning for secondary schools:
Students will have an opportunity to use previously scheduled as exams days at the end of Semester 1 (January 25 - 28, 2021) as Student Success Days.
