How to have better conversations?
A big step is to recognise ours & others unconscious biases & start to change how we talk & act as a result.

Joining @rebelbookclub this year has turned out to be a really good decision.
😀
Read books I really would never have considered reading (learnt new things in the process) and met awesome people at the London meetups.
💯

Book 1: Our Biggest Experiment by @alicebell
"Perfect guide to unpicking how humanity came to face its most profound threat...and how we can fight back."
#30daysofclimatebooks
"It's about having conversations and learning from these mission driven entrepreneurs who have started a business because they're saying this is a problem I want to solve" @benkeene@rebelbookclub

Looking to upgrade the @rebelbookclub techstack...
What we have:
Wordpress site + tools (typeform/gocardless/stripe etc..) to convert into subscribers.
Issues: site design a bit clunky + conversion tools not giving friction free UX + hard to track > leaky bucket

@NeilPasricha A page turner like Bad Blood, Lost Connections or A Long Way Home. Also an option is to join a (#nonfiction) book club that keeps you accountable and introduces you to new themes & books, like @rebelbookclub
@rebelbookclub Midnight in #Chernobyl by @HigginbothamA about a disaster that shook the world and a totalitarian regime that put ambition above people's safety, cutting corners, ignoring problems and ultimately trying to cover it up. The meetup with nuclear engineer Dame Sue Ion was awesome too
What a start to 2021!
