@Finallytherenow@great_martis 98% of that wealth is business interests, not cash. You can't "take" it without destroying the economy. Even if you "take" 5% of it, that capital flees overseas and millions of jobs are lost, tax revenue goes to zero, and the economy turns into Venezuela.
@Finallytherenow@great_martis Math doesn't work. If you took all of their money, you'd fund the deficit for less than 6 months (and crater the economy)
Thank you for your reply.
Not predicting, but rather scaling out according to a normal distribution of past returns. Over time, the normal distribution (bell curve) will remain the same. So if the average FBD goes, say, 34 points, then you use that as the middle of your profit take bell curve.
Your win rate would go down, but your profits would increase.
@OnTheHooch@AdamMancini4 Yes but the *average* is 30 to 50 pts. So you'd want to be taking off the bulk of the trade in that window, like a bell curve, to maximize long term profits.
Why things will eventually fall apart:
1. Everybody, even Google, seems to be treating AI as if it were some kind of winner take all competition like web search was, in which Google taking over 95%
2. But everybody is building essentially the same technical solution with essentially the same data, so there is no moat.
3. If there is no moat, nobody is going to take 90% of the market.
4. With no clear winners, nobody can charge monopoly prices; instead, you get price wars and commodity pricing.
5. Which means everybody will wind up overpaying compared to the modest profits they will be able to make in an intensely competitive regime.
Am I missing something?
The only thing that stops violent men from raping you and your society are other men who are equally willing to be violent in stopping the rapists. The West has decided that the highest virtue is to quietly comply with the destruction of your civilization because to do otherwise is bigoted toward the rapists. It really is that simple.
Voltaire passed away today in 1778.
There are two quotes of his I always come back to:
"I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it."
and
“Those who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities.”
