@jon_d_doe To me, that's one of the core responsibilities of being the head of the home.

If slipting of bills (I'd call it support) comes in, it should only be on food, the children school fees, utility bills, other bills... and definitely not rent or the roof over the family heads.

I don't know why a man will say that he wants to marry a wife, and he would be asking her to split the rent of the house he brought her into.

If you cannot put a roof over your wife's head and on your pocket alone, then you're not man enough to claim the head of your home.
