@SteveGaghagen@johnpavlovitz The only thing people care about is their 1st Amendment rights being demonized by the 1st Amendment rights by a loud minority. This thread is a good example. It shows that some LGBT need the attention & affirmation of society to be happy.
@Sassafrass_84 Ignore them. No one outside of their religion is obligated to follow their religious beliefs. They have freedom of religion & so do we. If they have an issue with us eating bacon, that says a lot more about them than it does is.
@Ron_Anderson65 You start with professing to God that you truly believe & want to follow Him. Then, you start praying. Start reading the Bible & seek out a church pastor to help explain what you don't understand. After that, attend a church service/mass. Baby steps.
@Intermediary__@rabbriansamuel Catholic here. We're debating on that among ourselves because, in Mecca, they still worship what we all now know to be a meteorite.
@Christians_era No. They worship the same God. The difference:
- Jews have the Old Covenant & follow the laws of Moses
- Christians have the New Covenant & follow the gospels. The Catholic Church in particular views the Bible as 2 halves of a whole & that you need to know both Testaments.
@FightofFaith At the last second, I remembered that there was another way to stop that I didn't learn. With no time left, I went for it. I pulled a muscle in my leg & the ski was a few inches into the snow, but I stopped. I lived, but it wasn't me who pulled it off. I couldn't on my own (2/2)
@FightofFaith Yes. At 13, I was convinced by a "friend" to ski down a black diamond after only 3 lessons. I couldn't control my speed & just kept going faster & faster. I was reaching the end with no way to stop & was going to aim to crash into whatever would kill me instantly. (1/2)
@WomenBeingAwful The woman. Those excuses tell me that she is not satisfied with him in bed. I don't think the relationship is doomed, but there definitely needs to be marriage counseling & couples sex therapy to find possible solutions.
