Emotional moment here at state wrestling at Hartman Arena.
KSHSAA honors the family of Heights athletic director and former wrestling coach Mike Church, who tragically lost his battle against brain cancer yesterday.
Standing ovation for longer than a minute.
Congrats to the Andale Volleyball Program and players for being awarded a TEAM Academic Award from the Kansas Volleyball Association! This is the 6th straight year for this award for AHS Volleyball.

Best thing you get as a coach? Texts with pictures like this! Andale female athletes repping well! Proud of these three in their first year of collegiate performance! 🙌🏻🙌🏻
@CoachDuze As a coach and educator 32 years is a remarkable commitment. What you’ve done and achieved as a coach has made a lifetime impact, may we all remember in this post to check in on you in your next chapter as you’ve spent the past 32 checking in on all of us! Thanks Coach Duze!
Stanhope in his element!
