Afghan refugees find themselves in a predicament grappling with forms of oppression. Firstly they are subjected to deportations. Secondly, their ability to sustain their livelihoods is curtailed. Thirdly there are challenges, in providing education and legal documentation for their children. Moreover, they face the reality of housing within Afghanistan. Additionally, reports indicate that their personal finances and possessions are unjustly confiscated from them. These are a few of the pressing issues at hand. We earnestly call upon the United Nations and the international community to give these matters the attention they deserve.
