@lucasjinjer@timburchett@USDA Exactly! I tried contacting my Senator and Congress woman to raise concern about China buying Smithfield and they didn't care. In fact my then Senator's office wrote me a note back telling me they didn't care about my opinion or concerns.
@berniemoreno@SenateCommerce I'm vehicle shopping right now. What is sad, is that any vehicle made by the Big 3 that is of the size I want, are all made in foreign countries. If I want a made in the USA vehicle I am looking at a Honda, Toyota, or Kia. I have only ever owned GM vehicles now not considering it
@nicksortor@BrookeLRollins China bought Smithfield back during the Obama administration. The Government had to approve the acquisition. I tried to bring attention to this problem back then, and no one cared. I have refused to buy anything Smithfield since then.
@RichardBig44907@atensnut I have to have an ID in order to buy everyday items like Allergy meds, glue, and paint. We have to have an ID to do basic life things. So the argument that showing an ID is disenfranchisement doesn't work.
@AbbyJohnson Oh and I have slept on both an Original Tempurpedic and one with the cooling, the cooling feature makes a huge difference. I don't think it sleeps any hotter than a regular spring mattress. It is worth the comfort to my arthritic joints.
@AbbyJohnson I am post menopause (Hysterectomy at the age of 28, currently 46). But I can also have Fevers caused by my Autoimmune Arthritis Diseases. I love my Tempurpedic mattress. Just make sure you get the one that has the cooling top. It makes a difference.
@jrbroadbent@marcellstrbich Right now property taxes stay local. Why should the money go to the state to manage? The further away from local government the worst the $ management gets.
@EricLDaugh Do your homework first. This failed to require ID for ALL methods of voting. It only coverage in person voting. I am a conservative who loves in Ohio and I will not support this unless it make ID mandatory for mail in ballots and in person voting.
