He claimed that the North invaded the South and took most of its wealth, creating a lasting legacy of socio-econimic disparity. The war was called the "Expedition of thousand".
Looked into it briefly and seemed to have some validity.

A teachers job is not to instill values they consider correct into their students, but to teach them the subject the class is on.
It is the parents job to instill morals and values.

@hamptonism For the middle 30mins there is 50% chance they meet (the person can arrive 15 mins before the other or any time during the wait so 30mins of 60). For the first 15 mins the odds go linearly from .25 to .5 and the last 15 mins linearly from .5 to .25. So 0.5 x 0.5 + 0.5 cubed = 3/8

@0x_Freddie Largely agree. One build is big businesses benefit from excessive regualtion as they are the only ones that can afford compliance teams to meet the regulation. The biggest beneficiaries of less regulation in my opinion are smaller businesses and users.

@CarlBMenger This is the inclusion rate (the rate at which the capital gain is included in income tax) not the effective rate (the actual tax rate you pay on your capital gain). The effective rate is 66.6% x your income tax rate. Still very high though

@TiffanyFong_ Just saw that NewCo (now called Ionic Digital) shares are supposedly valued at $20. I assume the share price will go up significantly provided they hodled. If not my overall recovery will be 19%. Thanks @CelsiusNetwork

Celsius had liabilities of 5.5bil and assets of 4.3bil, which would imply a recovery of around 72%. As it stands I've received 0 (as coinbase doesn't undertand uk immigration) and will be receiving cash equal to 14% of the value of my crypto in Celsius.

On a unrelated note @metpoliceuk if a business raises invoices for goods they did not supply is that fraud? If they threaten you would that be extortion? If they send dozens of letters and open up multiple accounts to bill you for something you did not receive is that harassment?

Further if a household has a contract with say @edfenergy and are getting billed by them and paying them via direct deposit, maybe you shouldn't be billing that household too? If you are supplying the gas then shouldn't you demand payment from edf as opposed to demanding...

If you do decide to wait until you are chased by the ombudsman, maybe you shouldn't send an email stating that you are not sending another engineer and it's now no longer your problem
