We had the pleasure of hosting architects from the Farnsworth Group today as part of our weekly meetings with the Construction Team in charge of building our new campus!

He took it and decided to draft a Torii to the best of his ability. He learned the Japanese terminology for each joint, developed an interest in architecture, and strived to make it as perfectly as possible. I'm pretty proud of this kid.

This is James. A few weeks ago, he started learning SketchUp in my class. I could tell he needed a bit more of a challenge so I gave him a book on Japanese joinery and said "have fun!".
I love having my classroom. The shop is great for getting down to the dusty stuff, but the classroom is better for discussion and focused learning. Plus I get to store all my nerd stuff here. #leveluprebelup#PHEARCE#IWANTTOBELIEVE
