The New York Times is standing by on how it reported on @lyndseyfifield accusations against Graham Platner.

I asked the Times if they had a response to Lyndsey’s criticism on x of the piece.

NYT spokesperson Nicole Taylor said Fifield’s account was reported on “according to our standards.”

Four young Americans – two who just graduated from high school – died May 22 after a head-on collision with a driver going the wrong direction on I-40 in Oklahoma that caused the car to catch fire.

The allegedly drunk suspect, Mexican illegal alien Michael Salomon Rosario-Cruz, faces charges including:

—4 counts of second-degree murder
—2 counts of DUI causing great bodily injury
—Transporting an open container
—Possessing a firearm with an altered ID while committing a felony
—Carrying firearms while under the influence
—Wrong way on a one-way road

ICE filed an immigration detainer for Rosario-Cruz, who should never have been in the country to begin with, to ensure he’s never released to endanger others again.
