To our Madam Vice President, Kamala Harris, Thank you.
Thank you for a lifetime of service. For being the most qualified presidential candidate ever by being the only candidate to work in all three branches of government. 🧵
Not accepting "Biden wouldn't have won either" arguments today.
You don't know that & neither do I.
HE won before.
What we DO know is that this country has NEVER elected a woman- let alone a non-white woman- to that office.
You asked her to do the impossible- on SHORT notice.
I've taken my meds.
I'm crossing my fingers that they knock me out so I get a little sleep.
Tomorrow, I get back to my plans to keep my family safe.
Once the election is officially called, I'm ditching Twitter for good, not sure where I'll land, but I can't stay here.
I am so proud of @KamalaHarris and all that she has done.
She put everything she had into doing what was best for our country.
I will always be a proud supporter of MVP.
Kamala Harris worked her ass off knowing America would be difficult to win and yet she took that responsibility on. Sacrificing her life and health (mentally and physically). I have so much respect and adoration for her. No matter what.
Kamala Harris left it all out there, her team and volunteers busted their asses — the choice was clear. No matter what happens in the next few hours or days this is a harsh reality check. You can’t fix stupid.
Hate to say it but I underestimated whiteness, the stupidity of Americans, that way too Latinos are 🗑️ and white people have not changed one bit. People will always vote or not vote in their own self -interest. Period!
As I said and so far (until other stats become available):
- The BIGGEST voting bloc for Kamala Harris are Black women.
- The SECOND BIGGEST voting bloc for Kamala Harris are Black men.
Find someone else to blame.
The math ain't mathin' at this point.
I've got to figure out what to do for my family at this point.
The last four years gave the illusion of safety, but tonight has shattered that illusion.
