@busymac came across a bug for the iOS version of BusyCal where the app would not open in airplane mode. Can this please be fixed?

@Readdle That’s the issue. Features previously free are not free anymore. So if I am to use Calendar 5 then I am forced into a subscription. That’s why I gone with another product without subscription.

I deleted @Readdle’s (previously) excellent #Calendar5 today and moved onto #BusyCal. It is a shame that the basic functionality such as Attendees in #Calendar5 is now a paid feature. Not to mention a subscription model.

Fortnightly salary = 12470 AUD = 6528 GBP.

= £170 000 per annum as a trainee.

UK consultant salary = £88 000 p.a.

We will lose our best doctors from the UK if we don’t fix this.

Consultants have lost over a third of their pay in real terms and they are not worth a penny less.

They put their lives at risk during the pandemic, yet are rewarded with further pay cuts.

We must support them.
