FREYA. This is our Ukrainian anti-ballistic system. This project is an anti-ballistic system that should be an analogue of Patriot in terms of intercepting ballistic targets, but one that is easier to mass-produce and less expensive. This is a European model.

Our first meeting on this topic will take place in France, and it will happen in the near future. Our task was to bring together leaders, companies, and national security advisors – and to present the relevant project to countries that can help Ukraine implement it very quickly. If the leaders, their production capacities, and their companies support FREYA, then FREYA will come to life very soon.

Patriots are number one. We are grateful to the United States and to the Europeans who have helped us with these systems. There is SAMP/T NG – the new generation of French systems. Is it an analogue of Patriot? Yes. And we very much hope that, thanks to our agreements with France, we will receive the corresponding systems.

But with both Patriots and SAMP/T, it is a matter of time. Production is very limited, and the waiting lists are very long. That is why we have started building our own European project called FREYA. I very much count on the success of this project.

Caro Nori, i raid non si vedono e tu dunque puoi farti in pace le tue belle passeggiate letterarie, perche gli ucraini, al contrario dei russi, non mandano droni nei centri storici delle città a fare strage di civili. Se ti fossi allontanato di qualche chilometro i raid li avresti visti eccome, su una delle ultime raffinerie funzionanti della zona. Ma tranquillo, potrai continuare a passeggiare indisturbato, come anche tutti i pietroburghesi senza più benzina. Last night, Kyiv came under a massive Russian attack. Russia launched 68 missiles and 351 attack drones. Response efforts are still underway. Damage has been recorded at more than 10 locations across the city, including residential buildings. All necessary services are on the ground, doing everything possible to rescue people and provide assistance to everyone who needs it. So far, 64 people have been rescued, including two children. As of now, it has been confirmed that, tragically, eleven people were killed in this attack. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Around 60 more people were injured.

In the Kyiv region, sixteen people were injured and three people were killed. My condolences to their families and loved ones. A fire is still burning at the site of the missile strike in Vyshneve. People are being evacuated from a residential area. More than 400 first responders and police officers have been deployed to deal with the aftermath of the attack.

Our warriors performed well today in intercepting drones and cruise missiles, but unfortunately not Russian ballistic missiles. And the reason lies in the insufficient supply of interceptor missiles. It is critically important that the world – first and foremost the United States and our European partners – come out of the NATO Summit in Ankara with strong decisions in support of our air defense, and thus the protection of ordinary people’s lives. As long as Patriot missiles remain in our allies' stockpiles, Russia is only encouraged to keep “vanquishing” residential buildings. The United States and Europe have enough strength to stop this terror.
