We've added more crops to our city builder! 🎃

Grow pumpkins for the Ljósanótt festival, oats for your sheep, and cabbage & carrots for stew production.

Each crop now also has its own color in farm build mode, making field planning easier!

Introducing yards to our city builder!

You can now build custom yards around your homesteads in Thveit, adding character to your settlement while providing a small comfort boost.

And of course, your cats will love having a little extra space to roam. 🐱

A glimpse of the organic, cinematic events coming to our city builder 🐋

We’ve wanted to bring these kinds of unexpected moments to Thveit for a long time. Here's one example: stumbling upon a whale for the very first time.

We’ve revamped the comfort system in our city builder!

🌿 Homestead requests for certain decorations
🏭 Industrial noise & dust affecting comfort

Slowly but surely, our city builder is taking shape.

Latest progress:

🎨 Redesigned UI
🗺️ New grid overlay shaders
⚒️ Proper shift management for villagers

Every update brings us one step closer to the city builder we envision ✨

We love when settlements just POP in 👀

[Winter Cats Studios @wintercatsgames]

We’ve added organic districts to Thveit 🏡

As your town grows, districts naturally emerge and divide your settlement into distinct areas, making it easier to understand your town’s layout at a glance.

More ways to shape and control your districts are coming later.

See how your settlement flows 👀

New supply lines let you plan production buildings with more precision, identify bottlenecks, and optimize your layout.

Optional in build mode.

Behold, Autumn turning into Winter 🍂❄️

I've probably spent more than a year working on winter's lighting for Thveit. With countless shader iterations for both the lightning and snow.

Really proud of how it finally turned out! ❄️

A fresh look at our winter lighting and color palette ❄️

We feel Winter is finally starting to capture that storybook feeling, with every scene looking more like a painting.

Added Depth of Field and gave Thveit another lighting pass ✨

We wanted to push the storybook feeling even further, with the goal that no matter where you point the camera, the world feels like a painting.

Farms are now easier to plan and manage ✨

We added a new grid overlay shader with a subtle pulse effect and Norse-inspired details, making it feel more organic while helping you line up farms, gardens, beehives and more.

We’re pretty happy with how the new main menu for Thveit turned out 🍂✨

Shipbuilding is coming to Thveit! ⚓

Before setting out on long voyages, you'll need to build your own ships. Customize them with different sails, figureheads, tails and emblems, while choosing variants with different capacities and storage.

Inside the lives of Thveit's settlers and animals 🧑‍🌾🐑

You can follow individual settlers around, inspect their cards, see their needs and preferences, and learn how to accommodate them. Keeping everyone happy is a job itself.
