Alfalfa Mosaic Virus (AMV) in soybeans planted after first cut hay! The presence of aphids sure did not help.

Due to the warm/hot tempature and the lack of rain in the far east of Ontario, we are starting to see Two-Spotted Spider Mites.🕷️ If your soybeans seems ‘’sandblasted’’, chances are that Spider Mites are present.
Threshold: 4+ mites per leaflet.

Safe to say that Laudis + Atrazine + Roundup Transorb at 4 leaves stage is a great strategy!🌽

Western Bean Cutworm update: First moths caught in pheromone trap at Winchester Research Station, putting peak flight around August 7. If an insecticide is needed, the spray window is typically 4–7 days after peak to target larvae before they enter the ear. #OntAg
