In December 2007, a Barcelona newspaper ran a charity raffle to pick a local baby for a UNICEF calendar shoot.

The winning family brought their 5-month-old son.

The 20-year-old Barca player assigned to bathe him was Lionel Messi.

The baby was Lamine Yamal.

Nobody thought about the photo for 15 years.

Then the baby debuted for Barcelona at 15. Won the Euros at 16 while still doing homework. Took over Messi's number 10 shirt.

On Sunday they meet in the World Cup Final.

Messi is 39. It's likely his last one.

Yamal turned 19 two days ago. It's his first.

The baby Messi held in his hands is now trying to take the trophy out of them.

The Stony Hill Police are seeking the public's assistance in reuniting an elderly man with his family. He was found wandering in Mannings Hill, St Andrew on Tuesday, July 14.

He was unable to provide any additional information about himself.

The Hunts Bay Police have released composite sketches of three individuals believed to be connected to a case of robbery with aggravation that occurred along Atlantic Boulevard, Kingston 11, on Saturday, June 27.

According to police reports, at about 10:00 p.m., a ride-share driver operating a Toyota Probox responded to a service request along Chesterfield Drive. Three individuals, two men and one woman boarded the vehicle and asked to be taken to the Duhaney Park area.

While travelling along Atlantic Boulevard, another motor vehicle suddenly stopped in front of the Probox, blocking the roadway. The two male passengers then allegedly pulled handguns and robbed the driver of the Toyota Probox, of a black Samsung cellular phone, JMD$15,300 in cash, and his wallet containing personal documents and bank cards. Both vehicles reportedly fled the scene together in the direction of Seaview Gardens.

The police are appealing to anyone with information that could assist the investigation to contact the Hunts Bay Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) at 876-923-7230, Crime Stop at 311, the police emergency number 119, or the nearest police station.

He should not have to feel ashamed for needing a human being.
Technology can be helpful. I understand that.

But when people who built this country are made to feel helpless because everything became a login and a password, we have gone too far.
Not everything needs to be an app.
Not every answer should be hidden behind a screen.

Sometimes people need a voice.
A patient person.
A real human who says, “Don’t worry, I can help you.”
Progress should not leave seniors behind.

Because one day, the world will move faster than us too.
And I hope someone is kind enough to slow down.
