Recovery update - 4 September oracle incident
Asset recovery is complete. The Vesu Security Council, together with the Starknet Security Council, pool curators and partners, were able to recover 95% of the assets lost in the incident - 93% measured at prices on the morning of 4 September.
Our thanks go to the liquidators who engaged with the recovery effort and returned funds voluntarily. Not all of them could be identified or reached, and the cooperation of those who did take part is the reason the recovery is 95%. Thank you also to everyone affected for your patience this past week.
What happens next:
Refunds are organised and executed by the curator of each pool, who holds the recovered assets for its pools and processes refunds. You can find more information in the blog post shared below 👇
🚨 Important: Please ignore anyone who contacts you asking you to "claim" a refund, connect a wallet, or sign a message. Neither Vesu nor any curator will ever ask you to do any of those things.

$STRK is one of the very few privacy-related plays that hasn’t really had its move yet.
The privacy narrative is heating up, and $STRK is still lagging despite @Starknet now having native privacy infrastructure. That divergence is what makes me interested in it.
Definitely one I’m watching closely.
Every public transaction reveals more than just a transfer.
It reveals behavior.
STRK20 on Starknet lets users keep control over what they choose to expose.
Privacy isn't hiding.
It's ownership.
Push to Private: https://t.co/wFMk32vn8s
Privacy adoption won't come from adding more complexity.
It comes from making privacy feel as natural as every other onchain action.
STRK20 gets that right:
fast execution, flat fees, DeFi composability, and one-click shielding.
Push to Private.
Quantum computers will break the cryptography. Starknet was built differently from the ground up: STARKs use quantum-resistant hashes, and native account abstraction lets accounts upgrade to post-quantum signatures without a hard fork. Quantum resilience is architectural.
This is why Starknet's work on post-quantum security matters beyond Starknet itself.
The same cryptographic foundations are now being used to create a quantum-safe spend path for Bitcoin -- on mainnet, under Bitcoin's rules today.
The future isn't waiting for a soft fork.
It's already being mined. ⚡
From a whitepaper and a dream to a quantum-safe Bitcoin transaction mined on mainnet.
No soft fork.
No waiting for Bitcoin to change its rules.
Just a real spend path that quantum computers can't forge.
The people building Starknet are pushing post-quantum security into reality. ⚡
