To all friends, acquaintances, people struggling with anxiety, depression or any variety of issues let me tell you a story. There's a guy walking down a street when he suddenly falls into a hole. Its slippery, wet, cold, and the walls are steep so he can't get out.
I've been down there and occasionally still am. It helps to have a friend who has faced similar experiences so to anybody suffering, surviving, enduring, if you need my help to get out of a hole I will not hesitate one second to jump down with you. I am here for you. You matter.
Then a friend walks by. "Hey Joe it's me I'm down here can you help me out?" The friend jumps down the hole. The man looks at him and says, "are you stupid? Now we're both down here." The friend says, "Yeah but I've been down here before and I know the way out."
There is a difference between cultural appropriation and appreciation, this is appreciation. Regardless, neither are justification for anybody other than black people saying the N word, that will always be completely unacceptable.
