I don’t think people realize that early days at Rappi:

- everyone—including the engineers—would go out to deliver burgers when it rained because there weren’t enough couriers registered….

- Early engineers literally coded while sitting on plastic chairs, and when had actual chairs marked them so no one took them away from them… (there was a chair war going on)

- There were no fancy coffee machines. There was this one machine the engineers asked for, but you had to clean it every time you used it for coffee. Eventually, no one used it anymore (haha)….

People worked non-stop to make sure every single burger got delivered. No ping-pong tables, no happy hours. The Rappi founders were really good at making sure everyone understood that you had to give it your all. Nothing came from fancy distractions—everything came from working super hard…
