Murf Gray smashes his third home run in seven games at Double-A
He has posted a 1.031 OPS with seven walks and five strikeouts since being promoted to Double-A
Ronald Acuña Jr. is fine. His cleat caught in the dirt during that fourth inning strikeout last night, causing his foot to turn awkwardly. He walked it off and was fine by the time he got to the dugout.

I just don’t know what we’re going to do without Ryan Clark turning fun sports topics into race bait arguments on national television.
Jemele Hill and Jason Whitlock can fill this void, certainly
I love how a lot of opposing fans of the Pirates that do not want Esmerlyn Valdez to succeed compare him to Aristides Aquino.
Let’s compare the two with their MILB stats before both of their promotions to the Majors:
Aquino: 9 years in minors (11-19’)
- MILB OBP: .307
- 25 years old when he had his breakout year
Valdez: 6 years in minors (21-26’)
- MILB OBP .368
- 22 years old when he was promoted to majors
Valdez might strike out a lot like Aquino did but he has a way better eye at the plate and he is also still developing as a player. He is only 22 years old and Aquino was already 25. Big difference in my opinion.
⚾ Michael Harris II doubles (18) on a sharp fly ball to right fielder Cam Cauley. Drake Baldwin scores. Ozzie Albies scores. Matt Olson scores.

#Rays Caminero said he initially feared the worst when hit, was obviously incredibly relieved when x-rays were negative and said he’ll definitely play Friday when Rays have a DH in Boston - “both games.”
