Funny coincidence today I received an email from the BRA providing advice for changing important online passwords and enabling 2FA where possible. Soon after I see another one from FLOW saying they have been asked by the govt to help me with 2FA

@wcchen Whatever the girls were up to is a matter for their parents and a guidance counselor. This is in no way new “nasty behavior” as I recall this happening when I was in primary school near 50years ago. The only difference now is that there are cell phones recording everything today.

@Trillxdadian What I also noticed is even if a card was replaced with a new one, their platform still stored the old one somewhere making it part of the breach. I alternate using three cards with them and all three got hacked with the same MO.

To further add insult to injury I now have three cards that had to get cancelled ( even though only one was actually active with Aeropost as the other two were replaced some time ago) yet each bank is taking a different approach to make amends.

The irony of it all is that they make it so difficult to add a new payment method and then they themselves get breached. All the Multi factor, complex changing passwords, and zero trust that individuals take, had no effect on this breach.
