If Karoline Leavitt was a man she’d struggle to get a job at Subway. She’s a blonde bimbo who got handed gigs from boomers who think she’s hot. Then married a literal millionaire boomer lmao. The audacity of her to shit on young people — and let’s be honest she was clearly singling out young men — is astoundingly ridiculous and tone-deaf.
She should be fired.
I don't want to dogpile here.
But it touches a very raw nerve for most of us.
Most of us wanted nothing more than to get a good job. That's why we went to college.
When we graduated, we found HR longhouse rituals and nakedly slanted hiring preferences. If we got an interview at all, it was for the mulework that needed to get done as cheaply as possible. We saw young woman get promoted every 15 months to supervise men with triple their experience. We saw token hiring fill the top jobs. We saw 'programs' and 'workshops' for identity groups to network and help each other.
If we wanted to sidestep office life, we would find that construction and restaurant work are slanted towards being illegal, speaking spanish, and for wages we could not afford to accept. We were not getting foodstamps or cash benefits from the government because we were not committing welfare fraud. We were not able to get auto insurance or car notes with the same laxity. How humiliating would it be to be a mid 20s college grad who has to go swing a hammer - if he could find a site supervisor who would even let that happen?
And yet, all we get from GOP types is 'put down the video games and go to work' - and they don't actually name the real abusers of welfare (or they didn't until Nick Shirley). All we get from GOP types is mild contempt or outright hate for the position they've put us in.
This comment made by Mrs. Leavitt suggests she thinks she's working for the Romney administration.
It is poor messaging. All it does is push young MAGA zoomers into the arms of DSA types who tell them the system is corrupt.
The LOUDEST 🔊🔊🔊 Stadiums in College Football‼️
College Football is home to the best environments, not only in the country, but in the world.
Wether it be passionate fanbases, great acoustics, or sheer size, these are the stadiums that can reach the highest decibel volumes at any given moment. We will be visiting 3 of the top 10 this year‼️
Where did we go wrong⁉️
its so insidious when billionaires donate to charity when they know they're about to do something deeply unpopular, its a PR racket and a tax write off
NYPD just released details on the street closures around Madison Square Garden tomorrow for Taylor Swift's wedding.
This reads like it might shut down an even bigger slice of the area around MSG than the NYPD did during the NBA Finals.
Planned Event: Starting 1PM today, 7/3, expect street & pedestrian closures around MSG/Penn Station, including 7th Ave (W 30th-34th Sts). Penn Station remains accessible via 8th Ave. Use alternate routes. Multilingual & ASL Link: https://t.co/serPaDO2qg.
Having a wedding during a major holiday weekend, in one of the countries largest cities, impacting millions of people, during a heat wave where the mayor is asking people to turn their AC up, is Marie Antoinette levels of disconnect. Coming to Disney+ Fall 2026.
New York’s electric grid is under heavy strain as this heat wave drives up energy demand.
We’re asking New Yorkers to voluntarily conserve power by setting your A/C between 75–78°, avoiding unnecessary appliance use, and turning off lights and electronics when they’re not needed.
These small steps can help prevent outages, keep the power on, and protect the most vulnerable members of our communities.
My team is coordinating with Con Edison, NYISO, and New York City leaders to reduce demand across the grid.

CHILLS. ABSOLUTE CHILLS.
Just in: The Los Angeles Lakers are trading Deandre Ayton to the Washington Wizards for Jaden Hardy and two Wizards second-round picks in 2031 and 2032, sources tell ESPN.
I’m sorry but if you don’t think a billionaire shutting down one of the busiest streets in nyc ON THE 4TH OF JULY so she can have a wedding in a castle built inside a basketball court, is not the epitome of out of touch and “let them eat cake” then you just don’t care about people.
