For a jockey to offer an opinion MAY carry weight, in some cases a great deal of weight. But this MUST be tempered with their primary job - to steer the things on the course!
The same way a surgeon may skilfully remove a tumour, but would have little bedside manner, post-op.
@bella_anderson4 Thought I'd give this a day or so to settle down.
I think a mounting yard analyst offers an unbiased view on what they see. Horses do change and these changes give a great insight into their relative well-being from race to race. That much is obvious.
